This 5th anniversary festival will feature Sarah Jarosz, the renowned fiddler Darol Anger’s new band Mr. Sun with Tony Trischka joining them on the banjo, and guitarist/singer Michael Daves joined by fiddler Brittany Haas.   Tickets will be on sale on September 1, 2015.  All three headliners will be performing at the historic State Theatre on Saturday evening.  More information to come soon!!

Falling Waters Music Camp
January 9 – 11, 2015 @ La Tourelle Resort in Ithaca, NY

This year we will have some great teacher/ performers including Matt Glaser (bluegrass and swing fiddle, improvisation), Zan McLeod (guitar and bouzouki), Barry Mitterhoff (mandolin), Matt Munisteri (guitar), Ethan Jodziewicz (bass), and fiddle teachers Judy Hyman, Laurie Hart, & Hope Grietzer, with more to be announced soon.  Join us for a fun weekend of learning, jamming, and a great Saturday evening show.  (Note the name change, deemed necessary after some confusion last year between the bluegrass fest and the music camp.  And we do have some waterfalls around here!)

January is a long way off so here is a great traditional bluegrass festival in the Finger Lakes to check out.

Pickin’ in the Pasture

This year’s great lineup includes Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper, Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice, the Lonesome River Band, Danny Paisley and Southern Grass, Dale Anne Bradley, the Spinney Brothers, and many more…..
