Winter Village Bluegrass Festival
January 23 – 25, 2015 @ La Tourelle in Ithaca, NY

2015 is the 5th anniversary of Winter Village and will feature The Travelin’ McCourys, the renowned fiddler Darol Anger’s new band Mr. Sun with Tony Trischka joining them on the banjo,,  guitarist/singer Michael Daves Duo with fiddler Brittany Haas, Too Blue, and Paris Texas.   Tickets are now on sale at the State Theatre Box Office and online..  All three headliners will be performing at the historic State Theatre of Ithaca on Saturday, January 24.

Falling Waters Music Camp
January 9 – 11, 2015 @ La Tourelle in Ithaca, NY

This year we will have some great teacher/ performers including Matt Glaser (bluegrass and swing fiddle, improvisation), Barry Mitterhoff (mandolin), Matt Munisteri (guitar), Keith Murphy (Guitar), Becky Tracy (fiddle),  Ethan Jodziewicz (bass), Judy Hyman (fiddle), Laurie Hart (fiddle), Hope Grietzer (fiddle), and Rick Manning (fiddle & mandolin).  Join us for a fun weekend of learning, jamming, and a great Saturday evening performance with faculty and special guests..  Registration is now open for the camp with a discounted weekend rate available through October 17, 2014.

O’Connor Method Teacher Training
January 16 – 18, 2015 @ La Tourelle in Ithaca, NY

Fiddler extraordinaire Mark O’Connor has created a violin teaching method that uses American fiddle music to teach violin technique and improvisation.  Join teacher Pam Wiley for a weekend training on books 1 and 2 of the method and become a certified O’Connor Method teacher.  More information and registration coming soon.
