Dear Winter Village Friends,

Here is the latest information on our January 2015 weekend events.  Tickets sales and registration open on August 1, 2014. In the meantime, enjoy summer & stay cool!  (Note that the remainder of the web site has not been updated from 2014 yet, so don’t be confused!)

Falling Waters Music Camp
January 9 – 11, 2015 @ La Tourelle Resort in Ithaca, NY

This year we will have some great teacher/ performers including Matt Glaser (bluegrass and swing fiddle, improvisation), Zan McLeod (guitar and bouzouki), Barry Mitterhoff (mandolin), and fiddle teachers Judy Hyman, Laurie Hart, & Hope Grietzer, with more to be announced soon.  Join us for a fun weekend of learning, jamming, and a great Saturday evening show.  (Note the name change, deemed necessary after some confusion last year between the bluegrass fest and the music camp.  And we do have some waterfalls around here!)

Winter Village Bluegrass Festival
January 23 – 25, 2015 @ La Tourelle Resort in Ithaca, NY

This 5th anniversary festival will feature the renowned fiddler Darol Anger’s new band Mr. Sun with Tony Trischka joining them on the banjo. Other band members include Grant Gordy, Joe Walsh and former Ithacan Ethan Jodziewicz on bass.  The remainder of the lineup will be announced during upcoming weeks and will feature some of our favorite artists from the past 5 years of great festival performances.
